Time for From up North's first product review. I´ve been on the scout for a nice laptop bag lately but haven't really found anything that meets with my needs and style. But for the last week I´ve been trying out a bag called Boarding Bag 15 H - Off white from Walk on water and I have to say that I´m really impressed with the look and feel of the bag.
First of the bag is really functional. The first pocket at the top is the padded laptop compartment and swallows my 15-inch Macbook Pro (with laptop skin) without any trouble at all. The second pocket has a couple of smaller pockets inside and a lot of room for example magazines, pens, papers and other gear. On the front of the bag there are two open pockets where you can but stuff that you need easy access to.
The outside of the bag is made up with a fake leather called PU which apparently is more environmental friendly and less plastic than the PVC that many other bags out there use. Environmental friendly = thumbs up!
The only thing I would have liked is a slightly wider strap. I tend to have a lot of stuff in my bag and think that it would be more comfortable for the shoulders if the strap was a bit wider. Other than that, marvelous!
