Excellent typography works to ring in the New Year! Thank you for sharing! =)

This selection of inspirational typography shows some fantastic examples of how type can be presented to show it in its finest glory. From the detailed pieces such as the ‘Hand Made With Love’ to the simplicity of the ‘Cut Out’ piece. I also like the creativity used to present the ‘Future’ book.

Although they are visually exceptional, some are so hard to read, Typography is about legibility and layout more so than being visually “nice”

I agree with Robbie, a lot of them are visually pleasing but give me a headache when I am trying to decipher what they say. Although they look nice, I think that a lot of people are doing the same thing in terms of typography and it isn’t as exciting anymore (in reference to the typography that all connects and swirls).
