  • Some really nice stuff as always but — where’s the love for the typography without any trendy embellishments?

    • I’ve seen the other comments regarding the lack of variation, and I understand what you mean. Since the site is maintained by one person only, and that I try to focus on quality over quantity, I know that the content isn’t as wide as it could be.

But I’m working on it, a massive update will hopefully go live on From of North’s third birthday on the 25th of this month. And with that redesign there will also be a couple of new faces in the F.u.N crew that will probably help mix things up a bit.

I understand what you mean with “trendy embellishments” but do you have any examples of the kind of typography you’d like to see here?

      • Let me gather some links and get back to you. Good typography doesn’t stop at a bunch of lines from songs that someone decided to hand letter ;)

      • Better yet, follow me on Tumblr. I post stuff there all the time. http://www.tumblr.com/josephnicklo

    if you google “pref graffiti”
I think You’ll find some good work for your typography collections

  • I love your choices of typography. Of course the styles chosen aren’t the only variations of typography. I keep coming back because of your choices, I don’t come to view editorial layouts. Keep up the great work!
